The Facility Management partner of Shopper Park Plus Nyrt is Dome Facility Services Group Kft

Shopper Park Plus Plc. (SPP) owns 14 food-focused retail parks in Hungary through its subsidiary, where Tesco is the largest magnet tenant. In recent years, SPP has been working on consolidating its portfolio, transforming the properties in line with today’s shopping needs so that new brand stores can open, serving the needs of customers in the best possible way. In line with this, SPP’s key goal is to optimize costs in line with investor expectations, so as a first step, the screening and optimization of property management services was carried out.

On August 4, 2025, a letter of intent was signed with Dome Facility Services Group Kft. to extend the cooperation in the technical operation of the retail parks. Dome Facility Services Group Kft. has been performing the technical operation tasks of the retail parks since the acquisition of the properties, i.e. from mid-2022. Following the acquisition of the retail parks, SPP focused primarily on transforming the stores, focusing on implementing ESG guidelines and consolidating portfolio management. In 2025, however, SPP’s primary goal, while striving to consolidate operations, was to achieve significant cost savings primarily for reasons of scale. Thus, the terms of the facility management contract of Dome Facility Services Group Kft. were renegotiated, and, having achieved significant cost reductions, terms of cooperation for a period of 3 years from 1 January 2026 were established. With this agreement and the related cost optimization and efficiency increase, SPP is expected to achieve significant savings compared to the preliminary 2025 plans, which, according to SPP, could mean a leakage reduction of EUR 500,000 per year from the 2026 business year, which will significantly contribute to the improvement of the operational efficiency of the group of companies and increase its long-term profitability.

Following the introduction of the Shopland brand in the Czech Republic, the brand was also launched on the Hungarian market in the second half of 2024. SPP’s goal is for the transformed properties to be synonymous with convenient, everyday shopping for customers: not only should they be easily accessible, convenient retail parks with easy access and parking, but also for customers to have all the services and goods they need on a daily and weekly basis in one place, in addition to food, e.g. drugstore, clothing, books, home furnishings and food courts, i.e. cafes, restaurants, fast food restaurants.

SPP is committed to strengthening the cost-effective operation of the group of companies and is constantly looking for optimization opportunities. As part of this, it will summarize the expected effects of efficiency-increasing measures at the end of 2025 and update its financial guidance for the coming years based on these. The savings achieved, expected to be more than half a million euros in operating costs, not only confirm the efficiency of the operation, but also create direct value for investors.
